Hi All,
just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Ceraform/ wood composite bee boxs?
Have researched similar products that are available overseas amd they do seem to have good reviews but have "yet" to find any real data on them here in NZ.
Currently have standard paraffin dipped and painted hives, but have been offered some new Careform boxs for free from someone who is getting out of the hobby and was wondeing if worth it?

Welcome to the forum MDPG

I know nothing about this product, but from the Ceraform website it says "These boxes are manufactured from a Solid lead free compressed PVC Composite boarding."

My consideration would be how eco friendly they would be when they had to be burned for Afb?

Thank you, yes I was thinking about the eco friendliness of them.
And turns out is why they have been unused by the curent owner. She was also concerned about how eco friendly they were if they needed to be burned.
Think I will pass and stick to wooden hives. :)
