Hi guys, can anyone give some feedback on the Ecrotek electric 4 frames extractor?
At the moment this is all I can afford within the electric range of extractors.
A radial extractor will be the best however this time I stick to the lowest price.

Sorry, I can’t comment on those exact units. But, if it is saving yourself some $$$ then get a manual extractor, take the handle off and use your battery drill to power it. It’s a very simple conversion and you can put the handle back on later when you upgrade.

absolutely no shortage of bee gear up for sale at the moment.

i would also go for the biggest extractor you can afford. two frame extractors get tedious fast.
I have extracted literally tonnes of honey using a two frame plastic extractor, lucky to have been able to call on people to help by making it an event most times. But extracting 6 boxes that way by myself one evening was a bit rubbish, almost as rubbish as doing the same with 8 boxes

I managed to pick up a four frame electric pretty cheap, that's an improvement. But the plastic extractor is still a nice way to deal with 3-6 boxes with a few enthusiastic people
