A friend is returning to France, anyone know if she can take a jar of honey there? It is my own commercially packed honey

I have taken honey to both England and Norway with no problem so I imagine France is the same. Just remember that honey has to go in packed luggage not in hand luggage as it is classed as a liquid.

I've taken home extracted honey to Germany, with "NZ Honey - Taranaki" scribbled on the lid. I chose to go via the something to declare lane, they basically laughed at me for thinking i had to declare it - and after a couple of minutes talking about whether it was the famed manuka honey they sent me on my way. That was 2019.
