Have seen 3 different versions of this in the media last few days. But rather surprised because a beekeeper buddy who only produces manuka told me he is very worried, because for the first time ever he has been unable to sell his harvest.

i think wholesale sales will depend a lot on who they are dealing with.
the other interesting factor is how much is due to come out of storage. ie the honey they have to sell otherwise its becoming worthless.

also i think this is where apinz has it all wrong. trying to focus on only one product turns it into a boom and bust market. there is a very good reason beekeepers have always done multiple income streams.
