I just checked on Google Maps - the hives are still there, complete with a rock on top of each.

Still there and sometime this summer my brother and I will be making another one to mark my parents ashes. The boulders on top are Jasper which is not that common around here but after over 60 years you can hardly see the stone for the lichen.
