I have two hives with two brood boxes and would like to know the best way to apply the oxalic acid strip treatment please.

firstly the obligatory warning, alternative treatments are not beginner friendly. highly recommend beginners stick with whats known to work.
a lot of the hives i did the OAE strips last season died.
with the strips/staple you can do the usual strip per 2 brood frames. repeat after 4 weeks.
or you can do the pad between the brood boxes, eg swedish cloth. however you need to get the thin swedish cloth and make you sure you have enough space between the boxes.
for the pads they usually like the 1:1 mix ratio rather then the 1.5:1 ratio used on the strips/staples.
