The queen marking colour scheme (e.g. 2024 = green) was clearly designed for the Northern hemisphere, where winter separates the years. In the Southern hemisphere, it means that we get the same colour for overwintered and Spring queens. Does that bother anyone else but me? Do you use another system? I think perhaps our Spring queens should use next year's colour. What do you think?
