OK, that subject line is pretty close to click-bait, but I couldn't resist...

This from the very first issue of the NZ Beekeeper magazine, in July 1914. The early years of the NBA as a 'representative organisation' are somewhat murky, as it began as a 'federation' of regional beekeeping organisations. Some were well-established, such as Canterbury and Taranaki. This was the Canterbury response to joining into the NBA...
