Earlier this month, a cost benefit analysis of AFB was completed - over 25 years since the last one. In that one, it claimed 6% of gross returns (this was prior to manuka). In a presentation some years ago, I flippantly calculated 6% of the current market and suggested AFB might cost the industry $25 million per year.
Looks like I wasn't far off (what's a few mill among friends).
I hope this encourages people to make submissions on the AFB PMP proposal currently out for final comments.
