German wasps,

Hi, I have been exporting German wasps to immunotherapy labs for 27 years and need large numbers (75lb) this season.
I'm keen to hear from anyone who is having major problems with German wasps. I can usually find problem nests and destroy them once I have collected the insects. I can be contacted at waspolnz@gmail.com. Thanks

In my area, just north of Auckland, very few around this season. I think the endless rain we had earlier may have dealt a blow to a lot of early stage nests.

Yes, it has certainly had an impact.
Normally I can get all I need from SthHead Kaipara, but I've taken over 1000lb from there in the last ten years, hence the shout out to see if there are any hot spots elsewhere.

I've noticed the same here (Wairarapa). Last year they were a constant pest, not a single one to be seen this year!
