How do I get rid of wasps

What is the best treatment to kill off wasps - I have had a hive robbed and lots of wasps around. They dont go in to the traps for protien. Is there a bait that they take back to their hive and kill them all? that is not too expensive.

sounds like to late in the season for bait.
best bet is to follow them home, they won't be far away.

Vespex is the bait developed for wasps to take back to the hive. However it needs to be applied correctly at the right time of the year- as commented above.

Expense? Whats the cost of losing a hive vs the bait? For me- The downside is that the smallest size available is 600g.

But Mummzie you keep it in the deep freeze and you have enough for life.

Just gave some vespex last week and the wasps still taking it fine. They are dying off around here now anyhow but if someone has enough to potentially kill a hive there may be an overwintering nest and be worth dealing to it.
