I am now an unemployed ex-beekeeper.
It's been a good 27yrs, but I have sold my beekeeping business today.
I've kept two hives in the backyard to keep me frustrated.
I have loved 90% of it and will miss that 90%,
I would still encourage young people to take the hive tool and enjoy the ride.

I sure wouldn’t want to buy a beekeeping business the way it is right now so you must have been running a tight ship to get enough interest to sell.

Are you retiring from paid work or moving on to something else ?

I am not ready to retire yet;
I will look for something new to get my teeth into, I'll think of what while drinking in the sun in Cairns for a month first
Up our way, pollination is still in big demand, so a younger couple combined my business into theirs to make a decent size operation.

Congratulations Dennis. most Retiree’s I know say they are busier now that they have retired.
