As the songs lyrics go "it's been a while"..

I have still got bees, can't seem to leave them, but only a couple of hives now.
Plenty of Lavender Honey left to sell at CCT Lavender Farm cafe in Karaka, South Auckland.

New interests,
- Motor Cycles
- Vibe Coding
- Sleeping!

What really kicked me was Graves Disease and the 7 year struggle with it. Went into remission for a few years then it came back worse so opted for RAI treatment March last year rather than surgery. Apparently I am the 1 in 10's of thousands that takes longer to respond to treatment...! But starting to feel a bit better now, definitely not the Energiser Bunny I used to be.
Next on the list of self care is varicose veins on both legs, hopefully that will deal to other issues of circulation and fluid retention in calves.

Yay to getting older!!

How many of the old team are hanging around here these days?

Cheers
Dan

i hope your getting better. getting older is not much fun as the back keeps reminding me.

It’s pretty sad, I learned a lot from these forums back in the day but as a hobby beekeeper with an interest in top bar hives, I kept my head well down. I still sew up my strips as instructed by Phil from Taupo. I check the forum occasionally but it’s a lonely place now.
