I had a phone call from a friend yesterday about the difference between Northern rata honey and southern rata honey. To be honest I have never seen any Northern rata honey and it is a very rare plant in Hawke's Bay. I have never even heard of anyone getting a surplus of Northern rata but would be grateful if anybody has any information on this honey. This is an academic enquiry not a commercial one.
