Of interest to very few of you, but I just learned of Steuart's death yesterday, though it happened a month ago. Steuart was NBA Executive Secretary from 1982 until the end of 1993. He was challenging to the industry, a stickler for details and did not suffer fools gladly. I rang Steuart out of the blue about six months ago. When he came to the phone he greeted me with a gruff "And what in the hell do you want this time?" That was after nearly 20 years of no contact. I'll miss Steuart - he was one of those 'non-beekeepers' who contributed so much to our industry.
