Who is everyone selling their propolis to these days? Have sold to Arataki in the past but heard a rumour that importing propolis is cheaper so it's harder for NZ beekeepers to get sell now (is this allowed)??
Yes, They are importing propolis. It is going into such as medical mixtures. They have permits that certify that it is only being used in their products and not given to bees etc. Or something like that.
All in all. Quite legal.

the other thing that compounded it was honey price.
with low honey price every one was scraping off as much propolis as they could, made a huge oversupply and drove the price down to nothing.
