keep in mind those thermos don't measure the actual temp, they measure radiated temp. ie the temp varies a LOT depending on what the surface is. that makes it really inaccurate when there is different surfaces involved.
You can buy temp humidity devices with metre long probe connecting wires. and usb conection .
You plug into computer and graph temp /hum over time period.
I have one in my tunnel house . Never thought to put it in my hive .
